USO is now hiring a Warehouse/Material Control Manager. This position is responsible for receiving, monitoring, processing, and recording the company's incoming deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials, and supplies in a warehouse environment.

Job Duties:

  • Receive incoming deliveries
  • Set daily receiving schedule
  • Document and file receiving orders
  • Ensure the receiving area is cleared for current deliveries
  • Notify production management of any damages or incorrect counts
  • Allocate storage space in the warehouse for new materials
  • Notify the production management department of any inventory shortages
  • Maintain receiving logs
  • Ensure warehouse goals are met daily
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
  • Operate forklift to move materials around warehouse
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
  • Schedule materials needing to be delivered throughout the field where work is being performed
  • Oversee warehouse forklift drivers and helpers

Job Skills:

  • Proficiency with computer and Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedures and common technical manuals, and purchase orders
  • Prior experience working with an RF scanner preferred
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Positive attitude

  • Active and safety conscious
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a team or independently

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum warehouse and materials management
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Eligible candidates must live near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Physical Demands:

  • Lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks with hands and arms.
  • Work at heights and around machinery.
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift as needed.

Eligibility:

  • Must have a state or federal issued ID.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must produce clear background screening.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen & physical.
