We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, hands-on experience in shipyard operations, and proficiency with Fieldwire or similar project management software. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate shipyard projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure projects meet specifications and timelines.
- Utilize Fieldwire software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on project progress.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Manage resources, including labor and materials, to meet project objectives.
- Identify and resolve any project-related issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, or Civil preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in a shipyard or related industry.
- Proficiency in Fieldwire or similar project management software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with shipbuilding standards and regulations.
